The U.S. Government Accountability Office released a report to the committee on Finance at the U.S. Senate. The report discusses the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) use OF two processes to enforce exclusion orders issued by the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC): a four-phase process to detect and deny entry to or seize infringing products at U.S. ports and an administrative ruling process that determines in advance of importing whether products are covered by exclusion orders.

The Center for Responsible Enterprise And Trade (CREATe.org) produced this white paper to spark a public dialogue about how far-reaching and deeply challenging the trade secret issue is, and to offer companies practical guidance on securing their supply chains and mitigating the significant risks and costs associated with trade secret theft.
